When his mother, Renee (Darlanne Fluegel), dies, young Jeff Matthews (Edward Furlong) moves back to his hometown with his father, Chase (Anthony Edwards). Jeff grows friendly with Drew Gilbert (Jason McGuire) at school, who tells him about the Indian burial grounds that bring people and animals back to life, which led to the deaths of the Creed family who used to live in town. Desperately missing his mom, Jeff ignores warnings and buries her corpse, only to have her return in deadly zombie form.

Stephen King, who usually doesn't mind his name attached to any form of cinematic garbage, had it successfully removed from the credits of this picture, which should alert any potential viewer to tread carefully.

Clancy Brown definitely steals the show in this movie, but for the most part it’s pretty stupid. There’s some nostalgic value for me growing up with it, but it’s often silly without really meaning to be. Still, it was kinda entertaining.

I watched this sometime ago and just re watched it again not watched the remake to Pet Sematary or Pet Sematary Bloodlines Certainly enjoyed Pet Sematary Two and think the Critics' are pretty harsh as the story line is not as bad as it seems just pans out pretty decent the performance from Edward Furlong and Clancy Brown makes it an enjoyable watch..... recommend

Watched this as a kid and was terrified.. watched it as an adult and was almost equally as creeped out. Very early 90s late 80s feels.. Bad acting is to be expected in horror films it’s half the nostalgia. Classic!!

This horror movie sequel was terrible. Edward Furlong, Anthony Edwards, Clancy Brown, Jared Rushton, Jason McGuire, Lisa Waltz, and Darlanne Fluegel did a terrible job in this movie. The plot of the movie was ridiculous and dull. It's just the same as the first movie, but with different characters. If you haven't seen this movie yet, don't waste your time. It's not worth it.

Synopsis
