Renowned dressmaker Reynolds Woodcock and his sister Cyril are at the center of British fashion in 1950s London -- dressing royalty, movie stars, heiresses, socialites and debutantes. Women come and go in Woodcock's life, providing the confirmed bachelor with inspiration and companionship. A beautifully crafted, incredibly intentional film that doesn’t waste a single frame. The performances from Krieps and Day-Lewis will make you feel like you are watching a ceremonious dance performed by two highly seasoned veterans of the arts.

Phantom Thread is, to me, the finest film Annapurna Pictures has released. It is a beautifully crafted drama that feels elegant, precise, and completely unforgettable from start to finish. The performances are outstanding, the direction is rich with detail, and every frame has a quiet confidence that makes the whole film feel special. What stands out most is how carefully it builds its atmosphere, creating something intimate, refined, and deeply compelling without ever needing to overexplain itself. It is the kind of movie that stays with you because of its craftsmanship, its emotional depth, and its unique style. As a piece of filmmaking, it feels both classic and distinctive, which is a rare combination. For me, it is an absolute 10/10 and the best film from Annapurna Pictures.
