The magic is gone. That much is impossible to ignore. Practical Magic 2 is little more than reheated nostalgia bait, though Warner Bros. would like to pass it off as a worthy successor.

In addition to a kindergarten script, predictable from scene one, a script that called for two grown women to act like (and attempt to look like) children, I was distracted by the main actresses’ frozen Botox and filler laden faces, particularly Sandra’s. Waste of money.
