Blake- N @PBSAniDom May 9 Precious Cargo is an incredibly weak action movie that feels like it’s trying way too hard to imitate better films without bringing anything original to the table. The whole experience comes off like a cheap attempt to capture the energy of classic action thrillers, but it never gets close. The script is painfully thin, filled with predictable dialogue and characters that barely leave an impression. The action scenes lack tension and creativity, making everything feel flat instead of exciting. Even the cast seems stuck with material that gives them very little to work with. Overall, the movie ends up feeling forgettable, lazy, and frustratingly uninspired. Between the weak writing, weak action, and weak performances, there’s almost nothing here worth remembering. I’d rate it a 0/10. See more Victor O @RT45890256 07/03/2023 I enjoy straight-to-video fare when there is nothing grade-A to watch. The fact that this has actors I recognize makes me both sad but also eager because I loved them back when they were uber-famous. Bruce Willis, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Claire Forlani, Daniel Bernhardt, Torrie Wilson, etc. Jack is low level mercenary/thief who is enjoying his life in Florida, getting his life on the straight and narrow but an old flame back when he was young and dumb comes back after she screws up a job betraying a powerful mobster. With a crew at his disposal, he helps out his old flame only to realize she has betrayed him, as well as leaving him at the mercy of the mobster. This was not great, but it had some fun moments. Like a low-rent Oceans 11 with hilarity as well as danger. I still find it hard to believe that such icons from yesteryears came together to do straight-to-video flair.
