The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent -- the ultimate killer of killers.

I found it really hard to engage with the setting and the anthology concept. It's more consistent than The Animatrix (2003) but with less story. It's really well made with fantastic sound design and a nice enough animated style. I guess I'm not really into animation but also I found this very repetitive and formulaic. I didn't hate it but it was exceptionally forgettable.

Incredible. Short and sweet. One of the biggest surprises for me this year. Come into it knowing what the Predator franchise is about otherwise you may not understand what is going on and why certain things are taking place.
