As hilarious as it is unnerving, it’s the rare video game-based film to rock from breakneck start to insane finish. Go to Full Review

Rarely offscreen except in point-of-view shots, Abrams gives a performance which is both low-key and virtuoso in its way: his realistic squeals of terror are especially funny. Go to Full Review

From that point, Cregger dives into his ultra-violent monster-making bag of tricks to come up with the scariest, bloodiest, insane antagonists a nightmare may conjure. Go to Full Review

The mix of thrills, gore, and humor blends to create a foreboding tone filled with threats and anxiety while also giving us a hero to root for from beginning to end. Austin Abrams absolutely rocks in the lead! Go to Full Review

Jacob 33 min ago Felt like I was watching the game unfold on the big screen. It was even cooler in 4DX, definitely a worthwhile experience as a faithful adaptation of what I’d expect when I think of Resident Evil. See more Chris 39 min ago Good Movie, plenty of Memories from the games but the Main Character provides his own take on the environment of Resident Evil. See more Steven 39 min ago what I dislike is this stupid ass rating page that keeps popping up in the fandango app when I'm trying to purchase a ticket. Other than that movie was great See more Julie C 46 min ago Definitely love this film so much! It was heart pounding, dark, deeply disturbing, super gory, and you really feel for the main character. I genuinely loved the direction they took with this film, and it felt like a legit wild ride from start to finish and was very complete. I like that they didn’t jump around and they kept you on a mission just like the main character. The assignment was understood for sure on many levels! If you’re looking for something closer to gameplay, single character, focused, and more monster driven, this movie is definitely for you! See more KT 1 hr ago Started out really good. Somewhere in the middle it started losing my attention but it ended ok. Actually, it had some funny scenes and moments. Different from the previous story line but in a good way. See more Joshua H 1 hr ago The movie is a tense and thrilling journey that honors the spirit of the source material while prioritizing telling an original story. The ending, however, felt like a misstep. It felt as though the film declined to say anything interesting about its characters and groups, but instead ended with nothing more than contrived chaos. That being said, the film is still excellent even if the ending leaves a slightly bitter taste. See more Read all reviews
