Felt like I was watching the game unfold on the big screen. It was even cooler in 4DX, definitely a worthwhile experience as a faithful adaptation of what I’d expect when I think of Resident Evil.

Definitely love this film so much! It was heart pounding, dark, deeply disturbing, super gory, and you really feel for the main character. I genuinely loved the direction they took with this film, and it felt like a legit wild ride from start to finish and was very complete. I like that they didn’t jump around and they kept you on a mission just like the main character. The assignment was understood for sure on many levels! If you’re looking for something closer to gameplay, single character, focused, and more monster driven, this movie is definitely for you!

Started out really good. Somewhere in the middle it started losing my attention but it ended ok. Actually, it had some funny scenes and moments. Different from the previous story line but in a good way.

The movie is a tense and thrilling journey that honors the spirit of the source material while prioritizing telling an original story. The ending, however, felt like a misstep. It felt as though the film declined to say anything interesting about its characters and groups, but instead ended with nothing more than contrived chaos. That being said, the film is still excellent even if the ending leaves a slightly bitter taste.
