This isn’t a perfect movie, nor is it one you constantly revisit for deep storytelling. Instead, it’s the kind of film you throw on with friends, popcorn in hand, just to enjoy the chaos. Its age is obvious, but that old Hollywood feel adds to the charm. The casting fits the tone well, and the practical makeup effects are surprisingly clever for their time. See more Ernestas R @Calicifer Dec 28 Movie struggles with all the worst aspects of its nature. No name actors those best qualities are boobies and getting naked. Acting could be given a pass, but sadly, script doesn't allow them to shine. There aren't any suspenseful moments, plot seem to just stumble along. This makes movie feel like a lot longer than it's. It manages to waste screen time on a lot of unimportant scenes which are just there. It only made me respect good movies far more as you can see sheer amateurism on full display here. Movie also struggles with what it wants to be. It's neither horror or comedy. It isn't an action or some suspenseful, philosophical whatever. It has little bit of everything in minute doses that you are left confused at how you should watch it. Likewise, plot itself is silly and leaves you unsatisfied as it ends up with government nuking its own soil only to continue the same thing again. So, where is the conclusion? And two, Linnea Quigley dancing naked in a graveyard is the greatest argument for the undead rising from their graves just to see what in the world is going on. Still one of the most chaotic, quotable, and downright fun zombie movies ever made. The humor hits, the gore rules, the soundtrack goes hard, and the zombies talk. What more do you need?
