It showed that even though following your passions can be tough for you and the people you love, the support of family & good friends can overcome all shit life throws at you. See more 04/20/2011 While you do get many of the glimpses behind the rock facade that this kind of doc. is usually expected to provide, they are just as creepily voyeuristic as usual. While less cliche and more recent & first-hand than the VH1 variety, this feels more creepy and unnecessary for the effort. The performance and rehearsal scenes are of interest, however, as well as the sort of self-analysis and response to blind criticism on screen.
