Scared Shitless is easily one of the worst horror films in recent memory, delivering a concept that is more disgusting than entertaining. The idea of a creature coming out of toilets might sound like absurd comedy-horror, but the execution is painfully bad. Instead of being clever or intentionally campy, the film relies on cheap shock value and gross-out moments that quickly become exhausting. The direction feels scattered and unfocused, as if no one truly cared about shaping a strong story. Scenes feel randomly placed, and nothing builds proper tension or atmosphere. The screenplay is equally weak, offering little substance beyond repetitive and uncomfortable bathroom-related jokes. The creature design is confusing and poorly done, resembling a strange, unfinished special-effects experiment. It lacks personality, realism, or anything remotely frightening. Much of the film is spent on unpleasant sewer and toilet scenes that add nothing but irritation.

A plumber and his son discover a repulsive creature has infiltrated the septic system of an apartment building, killing its inhabitants in the grossest ways. Both men are forced to get their hands dirty to save themselves from the bloodthirsty slug. Following a nostalgic trend in horror, "Scared Shitless" is a love letter to the creature-feature B-movies from the '80s. Blending horror with comedy, the plot is unpretentious as it prioritizes entertainment value over a sophisticated production. Simultaneously fun and grotesque!
