After newspaper reporter Cindy (Anna Faris) accidentally watches a strange videotape that causes the viewer to die within a week, she discovers the tape is only one of many weird happenings. Local farmers Tom (Charlie Sheen) and George (Simon Rex) have reported massive crop circles appearing overnight in their fields. Cindy finds a link between the tape and the crop circles with help from the U.S. president (Leslie Nielsen) and a kindly aunt (Queen Latifah).

*Scary Movie 3* was a slight improvement over the second film. The humor landed more consistently, giving me a lot more chuckles, and the pacing felt tighter with fewer moments that dragged. Nostalgia definitely played a part in my enjoyment again, but I also think this sequel simply has stronger comedic timing. It never reaches the highs of the original, yet it's an easy, entertaining watch that knows exactly what kind of movie it wants to be. Some jokes miss the mark, but enough of them hit to keep the laughs coming. A solid step back in the right direction. ★★★☆☆

Esta pelicula hizo que no le tuviera miedo a Samara por lo tanto le tengo aprecio, ahora el humor me sigue pareciendo un poco denso pero estas peliculas se caracterizan por eso entonces supongo que el problema soy yo y no la pelicula.

Aun sin los Wayans al mando, Scary Movie 3 es una decente secuela que sabe parodiar los géneros más contemporáneos del momento con buenos gags. Al parodiar a Signs la saga le ha dado más espacio a la ciencia ficción, pero no olvida que su objetivo principal ha sido parodiar a los géneros más populares del horror. En este caso el suspenso y el horror psicológico estuvieron ganando bastante terreno y era conveniente enfocarse en ellos. Quizás no está muy a la altura de las dos primeras películas y más por el hecho de ser un poco más liviana. Pero David Zucker ha hecho su aporte a la saga y demostró ser un sucesor competente. La nueva era del cine parodia aún estaba comenzando y esta película forma parte de un inicio que aún daba una buena impresión. Mi calificación final para esta película es un 8/10.
