After he beats his dad in a chess match, Josh Waitzkin, a 7-year-old, gets noticed for his talent. He becomes interested in speed chess at the park and learns the game from a hustler named Vinnie. However, Josh's parents invest in the services of Bruce, a famous coach who has very different practices. Between Bruce's methods and the stress of the competitions, Josh learns that even a chess prodigy cannot make all the right moves.

انا لا اعرف شيء عن لعبة الشطرنج لقد حاولت لعبها لكن لم اتمكن من فهمها لكن سانتقد الفلم على الاساس الفني كفلم عادي. فيلم جيد . قصة الفلم رغم ان ماخوذه من والدة حسب ما عرفت كانت جيدة لكن البطل كان مثالي اكثر من الازم و حساس طول الفلم هذه لم يعجبني . اداء الممثلين الثانوين كان رائع تطور شخصياتهم كان متدرج و حضورهم كان قوي . تطور البطل كان ضعيف هو مستمر على نفس الوتيرة من بداية الفلم الى اخره . هو ان يكون مثالي فقط. الاخراج كان جيد رغم السرد كان بطيء و ممل بعض الاحيان لكن قدم الشخصيات بشكل جيد. التصوير كان يجمع بين البرود و الفوضى مثل التركيز على حركة اليدين اكثر من تعابير الاعبين . موسيقى هادئه بشكل ممل . بختصار هذا الفلم للاطفال حتى تعلمهم شنو المثالية هههههه.

Great Kid prodigy learning chess storie is fun and with a super strong story but the name is a trap to make you think this had something to do with bobby ficher when it really dosent.
