Long-settled into married life and fully domesticated, Shrek begins to long for the days when he felt like a real ogre. Duped into signing a contract with devious Rumpelstiltskin, he finds himself in an alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin rules, and he and Fiona have never met. Perhaps the best one yet. More focused and sophisticated in all technical qualities. Much more depth than before, almost a maturity in some ways. Very well written and brought to screen. Amazing cinematography and visual effects, once again. Stellar cast all shines in character. Lots of action, drama, suspense, twists, emotion, intrigue and wonder. Lots of new angles to the tale. Very entertaining and memorable

This is one of the more hilarious Shreks inn the franchise. I don’t understand the hate AT ALL. I was dying of laughter watching it, and it had a great message at its core. 5/5 stars from me.

A massive Improvement from Shrek The Third. I would recommend watching this to anyone who liked the first two movies but it might fall flat if you are wanting something as good as the first 2, overall a decent watch for all ages, 7/10.

the worst out of the shrek franchise 1 was perfect, 2 was out of this world, 3 was great, and then there was this one. it’s not bad but there was no reason to make it, 3 ended just fine, we should’ve got a sorta part 2 to the 3rd, showing how shreks life has changed since he’s had kids.

Fun concept and twist on the story frame. Rumple is a great villain and piper is great. Puss is hilarious in this too. One of the best changes in the movie time swap.
