Eric L @EVLittle Jul 20 I wasn’t expecting much, but Six Days in Evergreen really surprised me. It’s one of those movies that just feels genuine. It has a lot of heart without getting overly cheesy or feeling like a typical Hallmark movie. Dawn Olivieri is fantastic and gives what I think is her best performance. I was amazed to learn she actually learned to sing for the role because the music feels so natural and adds a lot to the story. The whole cast is great, the scenery is beautiful, and the story keeps you invested in the characters instead of throwing a bunch of fake drama at you. It’s emotional, funny in the right places, and left me with a smile by the end. If you’re tired of sequels and superhero movies and just want a well-made film about people that feels real, I’d definitely recommend giving Six Days in Evergreen a watch. I hope more movies like this get made. See more George R @RT45747102 Jul 19 Several years ago, I watched "Country Strong" with Gwyneth Paltrow. It was a great movie about a burnt-out country superstar. The previews looked very similar so I rented it. However, it was a weaker imitation with a worse script, poor actors and worst music. Almost a Hallmark version of "Country Strong". Not terrible, just not very good. See more Read all reviews
