It wasn't bad overall, but the concept with the witch potentially being the boy didn't make logical sense so I couldn't get behind it. Didn't completely lose my interest though. See more Zack P @TheZackPowers Mar 10 Please don't be fooled by the average rating here - this can only be friends and family of the creators as there are few redeeming qualities to be found in this film. The acting is terrible, even for an indie film. The plot makes little sense and there is very little conflict to push the story along, and even at the end I am not sure what this movie was trying to say. The cliche (and repetitive) dialogue underscores the unbelievable reactions of the characters to what is happening around them. There are scenes that have no logical purpose other than to show the audience something and "move the plot forward" although they don't accomplish this either. At one point - the "girlfriend" of the abusive/caring older brother asks for a flyer for a missing dog for no conceivable reason and it never comes up again. And lastly, the heartbeat tension track that plays every ten minutes in the film is painfully obvious and lazy.
