I know some people are going to label it as boring because it's slow paced and it doesn't really have a soundtrack so it's mostly quiet with just dialog and some low sounding music in some scenes... But I loved it,,, I think there's a lot of like Fran who are misunderstood by their quiet demeanor and lack need to share everything about themselves with everyone they meet right away... See more Skip it 01/29/2024 I was happy to support an independent film that I thought would have been more thought provoking and interesting. I kinda liked it a little, but it was a superficial scratch on a very complex topic. In an effort to learn more about it, I tried to talk to the director after the q&a but they acted like I was bothering them and gave a very curt response to a quick question. If someone pays money to see your independent film in this day and age just fake some appreciation in the least (especially if your film is boring and niche) and dont have a q&a. Not worth the money. See more Jonah H @Delune Jul 20 I have to start off by saying that this movie is slow and anti-climactic, so if that's not your jam, you will not enjoy it. Daisy Ridley plays a very stoic and at times emotion-less Fran who drifts through life without leaving much of an impression. Fran often thinks about dying because she "wonders how it would feel." Given her lack of purpose, drive, loneliness, and human connection in life you can understand why she would have this curiosity. Robert comes into her life, and she starts to actively participating in her life. The Cinematography, camera angles, cuts, and musical scores were absolute masterpieces! I liked how Fran's character was rarely centred in the shot, but around the sides or edges of the frame.
