'Somewhere' goes nowhere. It treads in similar territory as Lost in Translation but lacks the magic that made Lost in Translation work.

A great Hollywood film, shot at the Chateau Marmont. Its meandering, plotless story follows a leading man as he goes about his life spending time promoting films, posing for a special effects mask, and spending time with his daughter. Sofia Coppola has an insider perspective to really make this film great, and it is.

A rare movie that captures what its like to be famous, and hate it. The lead actor does a marvelous job. People don't like this movie because everyone wants to be famous, until they are.
