The concept might have worked better as a short, where the bookend action sequences would have had more impact and the extended middle stretch wouldn't have included so many silly twists and misguided stabs at moral complexity.

Definitely keeps your interest for the full 90 minutes because the obstacles just keep on coming and you wonder how they're gonna solve this one. Fishburne once again delivers exceptional acting skills, and you can't help but want to support the redemption arc of the hero - Carter, who's previous fatal failure is given a second chance for correction. Absolutely worth a watch.

Fishburne is a ruthless killer that gets captured on film by a little girl. She makes her way into Thomas' house and the standoff begins. Nothing too twisty happens - but it's an entertaining hour and a half.
