I remember at the time thinking that it was unreal how they got star trek so wrong. Since then the franchise has taken a huge nosedive but the horribleness of the TNG movies should not be forgotten. My biggest pet peeve from this movie though was the offroad mad max scene. This is what you get when the people making the movie don't understand the material and don't care enough to learn. As a lifelong fan of this cast, and this franchise, I was deeply dissatisfied with this film. Despite one or two cool moments, and a re-uniting of a much beloved cast with great chemistry, Nemesis plays more like a lengthy episode of TNG than it does a movie. And it would not have been one of the good episodes, this would have been one of the worst ones. Also this movie's script does not have enough content to fill the runtime of even one TNG episode.
