See more Craig H @DownWeGo Jun 24 James Franco's performance is the best part of the movie, the humour mostly didnt work for me, it didnt really delve into Tommy the man much as hes so private so it limited the movie and it was pretty surface level. However it's well made it does try atleast to show us the enigma that is Tommy and his kind of sad delusion of grandeur and the good and bad of him that eventually churned out this crazy cult movie, the parts reenacted from The Room itself where pretty funny.
