Adams P @RT47641851 3d A surprisingly tense psychological thriller that kept me engaged from start to finish. The single-location setup could have felt repetitive, but the suspense and mystery around the corporation made every scene interesting. The Employer really captures the desperation people feel chasing success, and Malcolm McDowell absolutely steals the show with his creepy performance. The twists weren’t perfect, but the atmosphere and pacing made this a very entertaining watch. See more Emily A @Emily651 3d This movie deserves more attention. The Employer combines psychological mind games with survival-thriller energy in a way that feels fresh enough to stay exciting. Malcolm McDowell delivers exactly the kind of unsettling performance you’d hope for, and the ending left me thinking afterward. It’s not a huge blockbuster, but for an indie thriller it does a great job creating suspense and keeping you hooked. See more Ariya L @Ariya 3d I went into The Employer expecting a low-budget thriller, but it turned out way better than expected. The concept is simple yet effective: how far would people go for their dream job? The cast worked well together, and the tension between the characters kept building in a satisfying way. Some scenes genuinely surprised me, and I appreciated the dark corporate satire underneath it all. Definitely underrated. See more Frank M @JackOfAllTirades 4d I love this movie: great performances, great production value, and a twist ending I didn't see coming. One of Malcolm McDowell's best films, and one of David Dastmalchian's earlier films, they both did great in this. Awesome soundtrack, too. See more Frans B @FransB 03/22/2025 Psycho, a real sick flick. The idea is not new but this sort of grabbed attention. Great cast but not so much in character. Directing and cinematography is not half bad, but will not appeal to most. Not bad, but depends on taste, like always See more 08/22/2017 Five strangers have to fight to the death to find out which one of them gets a job in the mergers and acquisitions department of a consulting firm.
