The Grinch and his loyal dog, Max, live a solitary existence inside a cave on Mount Crumpet. His main source of aggravation comes during Christmastime when his neighbors in Whoville celebrate the holidays with a bang. When the Whos decide to make Christmas bigger and brighter, the disgruntled Grinch realizes there is one way to gain peace and quiet. With help from Max, the green grump hatches a scheme to pose as Santa Claus, steal Christmas and silence the Whos' holiday cheer once and for all.

Overall The Grinch suffers the curse experienced by many films, in that it is good and entertaining but ultimately only ‘good enough‘ or ‘reasonably entertaining’. Jokes land generally well, but softly.

Whoever thought the grinch was butt can go shove it, illumination did excellent work on this movie. I watched it many times on tv, but this was the first time watching this movie in theaters.

Great animation, great voices! Timeless Dr. Seuss tale with a slightly nicer Grinch (he's nice to his dog) and some updated music! Recommend! A great holiday film.

This movie was so beautiful. I saw it when it first came out and loved it then. My 4 yr old has been watching it on Amazon almost everyday, so I decided to take her to see it in the theater and it’s the second movie she’s ever stayed the entire duration of without asking to go home. It’s so good!

Just another Grinch movie one of which we had enough already in my opinion. hit or miss the kids might like it go and pick your favorite Grinch or watch them all, it's just that another Christmas Grinch movie with okay casting.
