An animated Disney adventure follows disfigured Quasimodo (Tom Hulce), the bell-ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral, who bides his time locked away in a tower. With only gargoyles to keep him company, Quasimodo longs to be with other people, leading to his chance encounter with the enchanting Gypsy Esmeralda (Demi Moore). When the beautiful young woman catches the attention of Quasimodo's guardian, sinister Frollo (Tony Jay), Quasimodo must help to keep her out of his clutches.

The film strikes an incredibly dark tone for a children's production. For me, the highlight of the experience was the ending, featuring absolutely beautiful animation.

Overall, I would recommend this movie, and for its target demographic this movie is a must watch. However, there's just a few things parents should be aware of before showing this to their kids. This is one of the only Animated Disney movies that I can think of that have some themes of lust or sexual desire. It may not be so obvious to kids considering the way its handled, but it still exists and is worth considering before viewing together as a family.

This Movie is HELLSFIRE! - take into consideration the source material, the music, the animation achievements, the score, Did I said the music? — A disney movie with a song about desire!? Come on! Of course all the other 7 songs were great plus when you get to enjoy the Spanish version as well. The song: God Help the Outcasts needs to be played on the loop in this day and age.
