Chase and Dreyfuss work well together and deal with the topic of those final years respectfully yet humorously. Loved it. I couldn't finish it. I watched first 45 minutes n bailed. It's a shame. It had great potential but old, tired jokes, slow pacing, poor characters around them. Skip it. Not worthy of the actors. Should have let Chevy write it. See more Daniel G @DanielGodoy 01/21/2024 An unsurprising road movie, but heart-warming. Brought back actors I hadn't seen in a while, n particular, Chevy Chase. I didn't realize Chase was so much taller than Richard Dreyfus. The other players were just along for the ride, though Andie McDowell played a very sweet part in the story. Old age is what we're all facing - but as Dreyfus jokes (though that's not so original) is that the alternative to getting older is not so attractive. Chevy Chase appears to be an out of sync robot while Richard Dreyfuss tries real hard and some sometimes succeeds. Andie MacDowell plays a hippie beauty that goes along for the ride.
