If you're horror fans, you will find nothing of interest in “The Piper”; in fact, you will laugh instead of scream in fear. And if you're looking for an interesting story or good acting, you'll find some of that — but not enough. Full review in Spanish.

A solid, albeit familiar take on the classic tale. One wishes the supporting characters had a little more to do in order to flesh them out, but several sequences and the practical FX pop. Christopher Young's score is the stand-out.

I CANNOT believe this is so poorly rated. People who play or have played in an orchestra will love it. The music is beautiful. I highly recommend viewing this.

If you're wondering what happened to the Night King from the Game of Thrones, he ends here, writing music and playing the flute, causing demonic havoc. Utterly preposterous, even for fantasy/horror schlock. Watch Mario Bava's "Demons" instead.

This movie brought me back to the horror films of the 80s and 90s. I loved it! The ending was visually exciting. The music was cinematic but still evoked all the best horror films. The director clearly loves classic horror films and it really translated visually. Definite recommend!
