I was entertained, even if for the longest stretches I couldn’t have told you who was doing what to whom. Chalk it up as yet another twist in the tale of Matt ‘n’ Ben – two Yin/Yang talents who will be yoked together for eternity.

Incredible performances by the cast. The best new movie I have seen in years. Just when you thought you had it figured out, BAM! Another spanner thrown in the works! Will have you guessing until the very end.

I really liked the mystery aspect of the movie, though I did have it figured out pretty early on. It still didn't take away from the experience. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you are a Damon/Affleck fan

The Rip is well-made, it's well-directed, but it's simply generic straight-to-streaming action fare. Its mystery elements are generic, the characters and premise are derivative, and the plot's payoff can't justify a watch or a recommendation. The only true selling point of The Rip is, at the very least, it isn't as bad as X-Y-or-Z-other-terrible Netflix films. Check out my more in-depth review at The Reel Ranker by searching "The Rip" ;)

Not gonna lie, this crime movie feels like two friends trying to outrun their own guilt. Great character development by the way. Damon always has this look "one last time". You know that look, when you've made a bad choice and you know, and you're still bargaining with yourself. Affleck on the other hand, believes they're already in deep. I also found that I loved the first parts of the movie more than the ending parts.

I loved the first part half of this movie. Ben and Matt are always a hit with me when it comes to action/thriller movies. I have to say that the ending was a little disappointing to me. I expected a little more.
