None of the actors did bad whatsoever, but what really made the movie have its handicap was it’s writing it was a very unsatisfying end and made you wonder what was everything really for all that time that you’ve been there watching the movie it makes you wonder what was the whole point of watching this whole thing unfold to get such a short but unsatisfactory ending but besides that another thing that was really odd was the camera motion there were times where it zoomed in and had a little shaking, and it was kind of disorienting, but only at a certain parts, but it wasn’t entirely a bad movie. The actors absolutely carried this movie and the special effects, etc. only bad thing about it is the writing. The actors and actresses gave deeply convincing performances, bringing the fear, suffering, and brutal inequality of medieval England vividly to life. One of the most disturbing moments was the womans account of being raped by a monk. Her story exposed not only the vulnerability of women but also the terrible abuse of power by people and institutions that were supposed to provide spiritual protection. The working class was treated as though their lives, bodies, and labor belonged to those above them. Although their experience should not be presented as identical to the enslavement of people in America, the film reveals a similar and painful pattern of dehumanization: ordinary people denied dignity, freedom, justice, and control over their own lives. Following a plague that had already taken countless lives, the ruling powers offered the survivors little compassion or grace. Instead, they demanded even more from people who had already lost almost everything. That is what made the uprising feel so understandable—and the story so relevant today. It reminds us what can happen when working people are continually burdened while powerful institutions protect their own interests. This was more than an action film for me. It was a moving examination of grief, injustice, courage, and the consequences of denying people their humanity for too long. The entire cast did an excellent job representing this painful period in Englands history. I highly recommend seeing it.
