A film about a woman made of iron who decides that if justice won't come on its own, she'll drag it in by force. Frances McDormand is extraordinary. The fact that the idea came from real billboards about an unsolved crime makes it hit even harder. A masterpiece — don't skip it!

This is a really dumb movie. It's not believable, or entertaining. I remember it was a big Oscar contender- it looked like Oscar bait- and turns out yes it was. Of course they are good actors, that's not the point- the story and writing are so incredibly stupid. There is no story, there are no points to the scenes. It's like someone turning on a camera and asking good actors to give it their all- just randomly, the story doesn't matter.
