With his waist-length black hair, dark somber eyes and skintight outfit, the star of "Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust" looks more like a beautiful, moody rock star than the half man/half vampire bounty hunter he is. Never mind that he's a cartoon character.

I loved this film as a kid and had wished I saw it at a theatre. The opportunity came and it didn’t disappoint. If you love vampires, action, and a bit of gothic romance check this one out. An amazing film, ahead of its time, and an absolute classic.

My wife wanted to go see this, it's a favorite of hers but I had never really seen anything from Vampire Hunter D. I had a good time, it made me interested in seeing more.
