I was really impressed by the visual cues that give us insights into Violet’s mind... It makes for an immersive experience and kept me hooked throughout the duration of the film. It’s a very simple technique but it was so powerful.

I've never seen a film like this. It went right under my skin. I felt like the filmmaker was reading my mind. I am really thinking about my own "voice" in my head now. I'm sure this film is going to get nominations for directing, writing, and acting. It's just so different.

It took me a while to comprehend what was going on. There's the usual voices of the actors, there's the voice of someone (her mother?) inside her head telling her what's the right thing to do, and script written words of what Violet wants should do. The screen takes on a reddish tone when Violet is emotionally pushed. Never seen a movie like this before. Had to give it an extra star for originality.

Bravo!!! A truly innovative and fully immersive cinematic experience….Justine Bateman’s film begs a rewatch or two. Top shelf performance by Olivia Munn and supporting cast. Might be the most creative movie I’ve seen this year.
