Simply great plot See more Akl3 A @RT97465035 May 31 My husband and I watched this movie together and we were excited to see a movie where the story was created to demonstrate the only true source of hope, where hope is found in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The joy that defined the character named Produce is available to all who surrender their lives to Christ. This movie had moments of joy, deep sadness, conflict, and renewal. Also addressed the human spirit side, which is so important in these times we are living in. We especiallly appreciate how they made awareness for important issues such as mental disabilities, alcoholism, teenage sex. It really was a touching movie with a great unexpected twist at the end. Would definitely recommend this movie to any family. See more Bill P @RT15559161 04/22/2024 For the most part, a very honest and well-performed and well-written story that celebrates the discovery of family, friendship, and the value we all have. Also to do with responsibility and learning to live lives of integrity. While the ending was both sad and inspiring in a way that I’m sure worked for a lot of people, it is where this movie for me went from earning 4-stars or more to only 3-stars. After a very honest and thoughtful reflection on theodicy offered up by the main character to his daughter, we are greeted with an ending that much like a lot of Christian cinema validates the notion that God must punish the sinner and reward the faithful - something that the world does not always see and that most Christian film continues to refuse to be honest about. Including this one. While I was impressed with the first 75 minutes of so, the conclusion felt forced, self-righteous, and familiar in a way that was unfortunate for me. See more Read all reviews
