See more 11/28/2020 Is a horrible movie with a lot of cliches and machismo. It shows how afraid is Alex de la Iglesia of women, their power and their empowerment. If a woman is independent, strong , intelligent and critical, Alex puts her as a witch and as someone who hates men. It paints women as híper emotional, irrational, incapable to think for her own and ready to go against their love ones cause they fell in love in a minute of a stranger (that by the way thread them like crap). See more 06/11/2018 A surreal tale that is also a fascinating, high energy comedy. Although there are definitely plenty of cliché moments, the film is mostly a montage of original, bizarre, and even insightful characters and situations. The surreal scenes are backed up by quality acting and an story that is good enough. Although I thought it dragged a bit towards the end, I was still totally absorbed in the strange things unfolding before me. Horror, comedy, action, and originality are a great mix.
