On the surface, Worldbreaker is a mediocre creature feature, but just beneath that surface is a vibrant metaphor, waiting for adults to pick it up and point it out. Go to Full Review

Worldbreaker feels like half of a movie, or an extended short film that serves more as a teaser for this universe and its characters without much depth. Go to Full Review

The action is relegated largely to bookend sequences, perhaps due to budget constraints, turning the film into a coming-of-age empowerment story that struggles to forge new territory or generate consistent suspense. Go to Full Review

Director Brad Anderson is less interested in overstating the creature feature tropes of his premise and more at ease with the family dynamic. Go to Full Review

Director Brad Anderson's robust approach is oddly over-serious, which leaves the film feeling both obvious and corny. Go to Full Review

willa R. @willarollins 1d World Breaker builds tension really well — the monsters are genuinely scary, but what stuck with me more was the underlying question of how you prepare kids for a world that’s clearly falling apart. It feels especially relevant right now, and the movie doesn’t shy away from the weight of that responsibility. The writing is thoughtful and the acting feels grounded, which makes the fear hit harder because it’s coming from real human stakes, not just jump scares. It’s more about survival, morality, and protection than nonstop action. The beginning is a bit slower, which might throw people who are expecting straight action, but that buildup is what makes the tension and themes land later on. If you’re looking for a well-written, character-driven apocalypse movie with real suspense and meaning, this one delivers See more Kimberly S. @kimberlydee 2d This movie is NOTHING like the trailer…and that’s a good thing! A beautiful father/daughter story with female empowerment at its core. Yes, there are a few monsters, but they are hardly the point. Billie and Luke shine as the center of the film with Milla showing off her athletic abilities all while keeping her clothes on (gasp). If you’re the parent of a young girl, take her to see this film. You won’t be sorry. See more J 2d Brilliant storytelling by a phenomenal cast! Well done this reminds me that film should be stories well acted and well told See more Carlos V @Cazbah 2d Saw the movie 'World Breaker. The cast is Milla Jovovich, Luke Evan's and Billie Boullet. Sadly, Milla is in the movie for maybe 15 minutes. So, it's kind of misleading. But, I found the movie to be a worthwhile watch. Story is about two characters, father and daughter... Luke and Billie... trying to survive in a world, where the world 'broke' and these humanoid multi legged type creatures have killed almost everything on the planet. Story is pretty basic, not much action...some, but not much, but the relationship between the father and daughter is very well done. Loved the ending. The last minute is EPIC. The moment and score are PERFECT. I recommend a watch. 7.5 out of 10. See more Chris D. @Roosterlily 2d Loved it! Great cast wit, excellent writing and character development, breathtaking and rugged exteriors, superb direction, and thrilling action with super special effects. Enjoy it in the theater because it’s awesome on the big screen! See more Kevin R 3d Just when it looks like something is going to happen IT ENDED! Should cut 30 minutes & add an ending.
