Hostages (2025) 2/5 EDIT “Heavily relying on its hit-or-miss dry comedic dialogue, the absurdity of the situation and its characters' ability to sustain engagement, all these elements thrown together don't quite come together.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Jan 23, 2026 Full Review The Testament of Ann Lee (2025) 88% EDIT “The Testament of Ann Lee is something bizarrely special that one would hope will be remembered come award season, or least live on to be a film that is talked about years later. ” – Late Nite Picture Show Jan 8, 2026 Full Review 100 Nights of Hero (2025) 69% 4/5 EDIT “100 Nights of Hero teaches us the power of storytelling and how stories themselves can be twisted by some for their own gain. Stories are from one perspective, and if a story is so powerful, it can be passed into legend. ” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Jan 3, 2026 Full Review The Running Man (2025) 63% EDIT “The film had a great cast, great elements but didn’t quite hit the heights of a great film.” – She Likes Movies Dec 30, 2025 Full Review The Ice Tower (2025) 80% 3/5 EDIT “With some fantastic visuals throughout and strong performances, those who have appreciated Hadzihalilovic's previous films will enjoy this story. It's certainly a film of a different calibre, a haunting and unnerving fairy-tale.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Nov 25, 2025 Full Review Pearl (2022) 93% 3/5 EDIT “Style and character are present, but the story is just not quite fully formed or satisfying.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Nov 13, 2025 Full Review Edward Scissorhands (1990) 91% EDIT “The real world, the entire tone and style, feels like it's part of a fairy tale. Thankfully, as this is one of Burton's early films, it isn't about style over substance; the story is as weird and wonderful as the backdrop.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Nov 8, 2025 Full Review No Other Choice (2025) 97% EDIT “...as a whole, No Other Choice, feels like some other choices could have been made but discomfort and shock were more favourable.” – She Likes Movies Oct 21, 2025 Full Review Rose of Nevada (2025) 100% 4/5 EDIT “ It's a fascinating story, full of mystery and grief, but you could be left with a sinking feeling of hopelessness, depending if you're an optimist or a pessimist.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Oct 21, 2025 Full Review Fucktoys (2025) 96% EDIT “Though it’s not a perfect work of art, a work of art it is none the less.” – She Likes Movies Oct 15, 2025 Full Review Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (2025) 92% 5/5 EDIT “It easy to say that this tale of murder, mystery and the Catholic church is fun, dramatic and comes with a genuine surprise or two, which is always refreshing to watch, especially if you're someone who thinks you can predict the outcome.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Oct 14, 2025 Full Review Exit 8 (2025) 97% 3/5 EDIT “The psychological ‘horror' is so subtle – which is a merit of the film overall, proving that horror comes in various packages – Exit 8 should be commended for successfully adapting a video game and not alienating any potential audience. ” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Oct 14, 2025 Full Review After the Hunt (2025) 37% EDIT “Though this may be an impressive cast, the story, somewhat convoluted, just doesn’t match up to the talent telling it.” – She Likes Movies Oct 14, 2025 Full Review Bad Apples (2025) 83% EDIT “Bad Apples holds the promise of repressed carnage but it would have been great to see absolute chaos.” – She Likes Movies Oct 14, 2025 Full Review Alpha (2025) 56% EDIT “Each of the three leads are outstanding, packing in the emotional punches. But as a whole, the film crumbles with confusion and lack of understanding what we’re meant to be grasping at.” – She Likes Movies Oct 14, 2025 Full Review All of You (2024) 71% EDIT “Despite the fantastic performances and well told story, there is a pang of sadness that is hard to shake. ” – She Likes Movies Oct 1, 2025 Full Review Riff Raff (2024) 55% 3/5 EDIT “With a cast such as this, you would think the story would match the talent but unfortunately, this is where Riff Raff falls into the trap on relying on the actors' good names to prop up a limp predictable story. ” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Sep 26, 2025 Full Review Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003) 85% 4/5 EDIT “Master & Commander could very well be considered a forgotten epic but with releases such as the new Steelbook, keeps the magic of the film alive.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Sep 10, 2025 Full Review Lost in Space (1998) 27% EDIT “There is admittedly much to fault in Lost in Space, from dialogue to somewhat dodgy CGI, but it will always be one of those blockbusters that millennials will remember, whether it's for nostalgic reasons or otherwise. ” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Sep 2, 2025 Full Review Fountain of Youth (2025) 35% EDIT “On paper, this film may have seemed like a hit. An adventure film with impossible puzzles, a decent cast, fight/chase scenes and heart warming feel by the end. But all the film is, is a shadow of the original Indiana Jones films with no coherent plot...” – She Likes Movies Aug 27, 2025 Full Review Oh, Hi! (2025) 64% EDIT “Although there are some far-fetched moments, you become invested in all the characters and really hope for an ending that satisfies all.” – She Likes Movies Aug 27, 2025 Full Review Hellcat (2025) 89% EDIT “For those who love a suspenseful thriller with echoes of horror rather than one soaked in blood, Hellcat offers a very different trip and may indeed satisfy those looking for a film that isn't fast paced...” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Aug 25, 2025 Full Review Sorry, Baby (2025) 97% 4/5 EDIT “Sorry, Baby is that unexpected delight you don’t see at the cinema. It’s awkward and bleak, but the effortless comedic tone throughout makes this a rare film indeed.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Aug 6, 2025 Full Review Saint Clare (2024) 32% 2/5 EDIT “Saint Clare is in no way perfect, there is probably coherent plot buried beneath the layers of basic dialogue and one dimensional characters, but least there are a few stand out performances to save this from becoming complete nonsense.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Jul 29, 2025 Full Review Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) 50% EDIT “Its such a shame that Rebirth couldn’t deliver on such an open premise. There was so much opportunity to avoid doing what was done before but unfortunately the need to homage absolutely everything was too much...” – She Likes Movies Jul 11, 2025 Full Review
