Bannell certainly gives it his all and, tricked out in full beard and makeup effect facial wound, definitely looks the part. Go to Full Review

Bob C @bcraft1038 22h This documentary was excellent, a brilliant work about the artist as well as his work. Caravaggio had a violent temper and was always getting into street brawls. Most all we know about Caravaggio comes from police reports from that time. From those reports and much research, the filmmakers put together a real life flesh and blood person. Artists and art critics make the paintings come alive. You come away seeing the works in a new light. Again an excellent documentary.
