Anon A Aug 31 What everybody else who hated it said--which apparently is anybody and everybody who watched it. Terribly put together, lousy writing, crappy editing all the way, and who didn't get sick of seeing the robotic, stiff, fake bear from time to time who you mostly only caught glimpses of that lasted one second--because if they would have lasted any longer, it would have looked utterly preposterous. But the attempt to conceal that with just quick flashes of the fake bear was weak, and a failure, not to mention annoying as hell. It all made the movie seem completely bogus, and worse than a B horror flick, due to how utterly cheeseball the whole thing was. Louise Fletcher, what were you even doing in this movie? I would have thought you'd have better acting jobs available to you after Cuckoo's Nest? Were you really that hard up for an acting job and a paycheck by the time this movie rolled around. File this one under "Y" for YUK! (Or if you prefer, "Y" for: "Y the f**k did anyone make this piece of crap in the first place?" Very little carnage and it's not much of a final battle, also disappointing that we never get a full money shot of this giant grizzly bear.
