Charles P @RT36323923 Jan 16 This thing makes 'Santa Claus Defeats the Martians' look like the best film ever made. Atrocious (and miscast) acting, a storyline as incoherent as a drunkard telling you about his first four marriages, and lighting that ranges from department store bad to I-can't-see-a-F-ing-thing. Even Bill Moseley, who can make sneezing look cruel and interesting, is absurdly out of place here and wasted as a presence. Genuinely, a godawful movie. Pure dreck. The atrocious predicament and appearance of the protagonist was enough to hold attention for much of the slow build, then when things got where they were going she just became hard to understand and then you realize the ending wasn't worth looking at her and listening to her talk for 80 minutes. Having to listen to her mumble through her teeth for over an hour is pain enough - but moreover the backstory of the religion's origin is weak. See more 03/17/2022 I thought I had seen the worst movie of my life recently when I watched A Dark Foe, but this one gives that one a run for its money. The acting is worse than anything I've ever seen, no question, but then again, when the "acting," "story," "direction," and everything involved is at zero, how can one movie be worse than another?
