Predator: Badlands (2025) Cris Parker The genre pivot to Sci-fi adventure really paid off. Dan Trachtenberg gets very creative in the action & Yautja lore. It is so wildly different. Predator fans might flinch at a few choices but I dug this new franchise direction.

Primitive War (2025) Cris Parker While I admire and respect how much dinosaur mayhem was delivered given the film’s budget, the writing and characters leave a lot to be desired—problems a bloody T-Rex bite can’t fix.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) Cris Parker While the film leaning into the camp & cheese of a slasher does make for a fun time. I can't help but disconnect from it after rinse & repeating a now tiered formula for legacy sequels. I do applaud the twist it just doesn't feel earned.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) Cris Parker The MCU nailed it! The stakes are high. All 4 members of the team play the roles exceptionally & share perfect chemistry. Galactus is a spectacle that MUST be seen in IMAX. Best balance of tone in an MCU film in a long time.

Superman (2025) Cris Parker David Corenswet's Superman left me with a giant, dumb grin. James Gunn’s DCU is ambitious, chaotic, & packed with so much that it borders on bloated. Despite its shortcomings I walked out very happy & satisfied.

M3GAN 2.0 (2025) Cris Parker M3GAN 2.0 swaps out the kills and scares for laughs and an espionage adventure. While the genre shift was entertaining, it did feel a bit overstretched.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023) Cris Parker Aquaman 2 embodies the charm of a Saturday morning cartoon, with more positive aspects than negative. However, it's burdened by serving as the conclusion for The DCEU, despite its intention to be nothing more than a lighthearted and fun sequel.
