Weapons (2025) Dan Murrell Sometimes a slow burn leads to a spectacular explosion. Sometimes it fizzles out. Weapons does both, and which one of those impresses/angers you the most will ultimately decide where you fall on the movie.

Happy Gilmore 2 (2025) Dan Murrell Happy Gilmore 2 is at its best when it moves on from cheap gags and cameos to some of the absurdist humor that I’ve always loved from Sandler’s comedies. If the script had been more focused, this could have compared more favorably to the original.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) Dan Murrell Easily in the top tier of the MCU’s post-Endgame output and it’s a solid start to this new phase for Marvel. First Steps lays a good foundation to build on as Marvel tries to reinvent itself coming out of the stumbles of the Disney+ era.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) Dan Murrell A big ball of nothing, attaching a familiar name and a couple of familiar faces to a tired formula in order wring few dollars out of my wallet...In an era where franchises like Scream have been able to make a comeback, that’s a real shame.

Eddington (2025) Dan Murrell Aster is throwing so many ideas at the canvas that it’s tough to decide if it’s Jackson Pollock-like brilliance or just a big old mess. I think it leans closer to the Pollock side, but I can’t deny that it's messy.
