It’s not that this is a cinematic misadventure, more it never gets out of second-gear, covering similar thematic ground to the brilliant This is Going to Hurt, but without reaching anywhere near the emotional heights – or devastation – that delivered.

The main plot seemed like it should be the subplot to another issue in the movie OR, there should be something else going on. It just seemed like it had a lot of dead space. The acting and actors showed up though, no doubt.

When is the jig up?

Was a brooding, angst filled movie - unfortunately did paint a fairly true picture of hospital administrators in many areas of the world (they represent the company, not the worker bees). No action shots, not bloody shoot outs, just day to day reality in healthcare. A definite glimpse into the future of healthcare in the US (everyone has a time limit, there is only so much money to go around, hard choices to be made - does this person live or does this individual let go with dignity, to die).
