Caddo Lake may not be for everyone, but it’s definitely a conversation starter. It’s the kind of film you’ll want to discuss afterward, trying to figure out how all the pieces fit—or if they even fit at all. It’s messy, confusing, and at times brilliant.

So underrated, with a mind-boggling plot twist. Anna’s Cancer ♋ necklace beautifully mirrors the story, flowing endlessly like water. It’s deeply tied to memory, emotion, & the past. At first, I thought it would lean into something like The Butterfly Effect because of the time-bending elements, but it stayed true to Cancerian energy. It’s not just about control or letting go… it’s about allowing things to flow.

The premise is cool, the acting was good, but the film is a confusing slug that feels like a TV show episode stretched out too thin. The pacing threw us off a bit as it was a bit difficult to follow 2 different protagonists hopping into different timelines at different points. The ending, after all that was revealed, still seemed a bit underwhelming.
