It's a film from which you'd expect the moon, the stars and the sun. What with an actor like Crowe and a director like Scott. Disappointingly, the talented duo gives you the most wishy-washy film of the year.

Screw the critics. Trust your senses. Allow for subtly. A warm bath, the flush feeling of red wine, little mysteries don't hit you over the head. But, if you don't like how a taste of French ambiguity hits the back of your tongue, maybe you need something a little stronger than a Bordeaux.

Anyone criticizing this movie is full of themselves. It’s a nice movie about generational wisdom, memories, regrets, redemption and lost and future love. It is set in London and beautiful Provence and makes one ponder what the f…k they’re doing wrong watching the movie and not living some aspect of it. Rotten Tomatoes missed on this one. They should try being less immersed in their self import and just relax. It’s not hard.

Absolutely awful. For one thing an Australian man trying to play an English man with a shocking accent. Didn’t even see to the end. Didn’t invest in anyone because there was no one to care for.
