Continuing the story of Wade Robson and James Safechuck on their decade-long quest to have their day in court against Michael Jackson's companies. Produced by the award-winning AMOS Pictures and filmed over five years with full access to Wade, James, their families and legal teams, Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson tells the story of a difficult journey and its many twists, turns and setbacks. Returning multi award-winning director Dan Reed documents the second stage of Wade and James's quest which is now close to fruition. The third and final film will cover the trial, scheduled for late 2026, thus completing the Leaving Neverland trilogy. If their cases are successful, the potential positive impact on the United States' entertainment industry will be huge. Music and movie companies will no longer be able to shrug off responsibility when one of their stars sexually abuses a minor in their care. The documentary also examines the impact of its 2019 predecessor Leaving Neverland and of Oprah Winfrey's follow-up program on the two men and their families, and on the hard-core MJ fan community.

Safechuck’s anguished talk of his dialogue with his younger self felt thoroughly convincing to me. If this is all an elaborate fiction, it would make them more accomplished performers than Jackson himself. Go to Full Review

On its own, Leaving Neverland 2 is, unfortunately, not much to speak of. Go to Full Review

With a big-budget Hollywood biopic, Michael, due for release in October, it seems only right that Leaving Neverland 2 reminds us of the serious accusations skirted by these Jackson estate-approved productions. Go to Full Review

I love Michael’s music, he was a one-of-a-kind artist, and I don’t think it’s at all possible that every one of his many accusers is lying. Go to Full Review

By fixating on the legal aspects of the story, the music industry which continues to make millions off Jackson’s tainted legacy is left entirely off the hook. Go to Full Review

andrew h @Achodges27 5d Absolute bullshit just like the first one. Everything these bloodsuckers have said has been disproven multiple times by multiple people. Nothing but money hungry parasites trying to take advantage of a man and his family after he has passed and can’t defend himself. Despicable!!!! See more Alice L Nov 7 I think it was finally time for this conversation to happen. For years, Michael Jackson has been treated almost like a sacred figure, as if his fame and talent were enough to shut down any uncomfortable discussion. This documentary doesn’t claim to deliver absolute truth, but it does open a necessary space: listening to people who share difficult experiences without dismissing them simply because they involve a beloved pop icon. Personally, I wish people would stop putting him on a pedestal. Popularity should never be an excuse to avoid questions or ignore the possibility of abusive dynamics. Whether you believe these stories or not, it’s important that they are told. See more Tali A @talixxo Aug 11 Leaving Neverland is full of lies and completely fabricated stories by James Safechuck and Wade Robson.. all for a paycheck. Wade defended Michael Jackson for years, even testified in court for him, until the Jacksons rejected his Cirque du Soleil audition. After that, he suddenly changed his story out of spite and desperation. The documentary has no real facts, just their word, which shouldn’t be trusted. They should be ashamed for their disgusting continuous slander and let MJ rest in peace. See more S A Jun 25 If you follow the debate on the question of MJ’s innocence you will notice that his fans cite facts to show why Wade and James lack credibility while MJ’s haters and detractors just post ad hominems and conjecture that he must have done it because he “wasn’t normal”. Luckily the world is reclaiming reason and the poor performance of this poorly made slanderous mockumentary is proof of that. Save yourself the time and refuse to watch this crap. See more Hayes F May 7 It amazes me that people haven’t looked into the background of these “victims ”, haven been debunked in multiple areas of their accusations it frustrates me that this Mockumentry was funded. Money is the root of all evil. See more Kristian B Mar 27 More lies and false information. We already know the truth and it’s not in this documentary. Definitely would not watch again.
