Im a big fan of epic fantasy flicks and this one got me. Now hear me out, giant mechanized cities roaming the land hunting smaller mechanized cities for resources. If youre able to not be a snob and just enjoy an entertaining fantasy/action/adventure, then this one is for you. The story was good enough to get me a little choked up at parts, and deep enough to keep me engaged. I do reccomend if this sounds up your alley.

I really enjoyed this movie and have watched it several times. It is different than the book but that doesn't bother me. They did a great job creating the insane world and the lead male character is so likeable.

One of my favorite movies. Great storyline and production. The release of this movie, I think, was done very poorly, timing and marketing-wise, which is why I think it didn't get the full attention it deserved.

I read the reviews as I started to watch this and was debating whether to continue with it as there were so many negative ones. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I am by no means a proper film buff, but managed to follow the story line just fine and actually liked the CGI and the characters. Yes, it was a bit naff in places, but I thought the characters held up enough for me to continue watching it and want to see it through to the end. It wasn't over long and I did genuinely feel for Shrike come the end of his existence (I am a sucker for a bit of pathos, just before a demise of a meanie). It was a better waste of time, compared to some other films that I have watched on a bored Friday night, searching for something to watch
