Alex Cross (Tyler Perry) works as a detective/psychologist for the Detroit Police Department along with his lifelong friend, Tommy Kane (Edward Burns), and detective Monica Ashe (Rachel Nichols). Cross' latest case puts him on a collision course with Picasso (Matthew Fox), a cunning serial killer whose ultimate target is multinational industrialist Giles Mercier (Jean Reno). Cross must find a way inside Picasso's head not only to catch the killer but also to stem the violent urges Cross feels.

... Alex Cross is certainly the weakest of the series, which reportedly will continue with Perry in the next film. God help us all. We can only hope for the best with that one.

"Alex Cross" is a lazy and uninspired attempt. Patterson's readers will tell you, the title character is a ripe and rich literary character with many incredible stories and thrilling stories to tell. He deserves better than this uneven effort.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

"YOU HAVE A VERY GENERIC SCRIPT" Not Bad But Not Good. This film is very by numbers with one of the biggest cliches in the whole Cat-And-Mouse Game. Once this becomes "Rogue Cop On A Revenge Quest", it's as Paint-By-Numbers as you can get. Absoultely nothing ground-breaking or interesting. The line "You have a very pretty wife" from the trailer takes away any shock and feels likes something anyone could write. D+/C- 4.83/10 If you were ever curious about this but felt like you knew what happens, Save Your Time, you probably do.

Wanted to watch a crime thriller and figured this would be okay. Couldn't stomach 5 minutes of this film because it was so dreadful. Yikes, that's 5 minutes I can't get back.

I was half way through reading all of the Cross Books when this came out and so excited for this show to come out. It was soooo off target from the books that it almost made me stop reading the series. I mean the plot was nothing like the book and we had to get the whole racial stuff in there like it is 2021 still. Not to mention why does everyone in hollywood want to make everything so dark you can barely see what the heck is going on
