Par H @Parhwy Apr 25 Apartment 7A (2024) is a 104-minute USA horror/thriller I saw on free-TV in April 2026. Please excuse that I am going to be unkind to this film; I do not intend discourtesy to anyone involved. Nonetheless, this film is bland, dull, and yet it showed some excellence in a couple of scenes, with some acting. I plucked my eyebrows and nose hairs at the start of this film, my bad, that could’ve been an… omen. I had a feeling this film was similar to another horror from 1968 (from a book released in 1967)… I am a thorough-going atheist who abhors horrors, so while this filmed spooked me at times, it was mostly annoying, creepy, and deceptive. Rewatch? No. Recommend? No. 3/10. See more Ken B @MrBelmont Mar 21 I know the original B&W Rosemary’s Baby film was a big hit, although I was never a huge fan. This take on the story was a bit better and it’s always nice to see Dianne Wiest! The story itself is a bit boring and drawn out that’s all. Kudos to the visual department. I thought it moved along better than the slow burning of Rosemary's baby. I would have liked to have seen Julia Garner nude though. That's my only gripe. See more Lucas G @Floral_emissions Dec 22 I decided to rewatch Rosemary’s Baby prior to this prequel and it was such a bad idea. Polanski’s movie is not only enormously superior to this movie but to so many other oneafter that have taken SO MUCH from it. Apartment 7a brings absolutely nothing to the table. It is basically a remake, because more or less it happens the same, just in a less absorbing way. Brings nothing new and fails in capturing the 60s. Strangely the 50 years difference resulted i a lot less intensity and oppressive sensation. It should have really gone in a totally different direction to make it worthy, like for example that Terry knows from the beginning what is going on in thebuilding and actually gets willingly involved with them and maybe something goes out of control.
