See more 05/01/2021 The Best Asterix adaptation had to be of probably the best Asterix graphic novel, a sharp satire on de-culturization that actually roots in how the Roman Empire really worked... you can forgive a couple of pop moments - that musical number, which is engaging and fun, anyways - but it's a complete delight for fans of this iconic french comic-book franchise. I was a bit frightened to be disappointed when I went to the theater, but I was not disappointed. Not at all. It was really funny and a good retake of the original version.
