It's been nearly two years since Superman's colossal battle with Zod devastated the city of Metropolis. There is much to claw through here, so much so that the audience might easily find themselves exhausted from the overall aggression of the film. However, a lot of the story does work. The action is good, and the emotion feels real most of the time.

It could have been an amazing movie had it not try to build shit characters in the background justice League. Biggest f up of this movie was casting that shitty actor as lex Luthor... I mean if that's not the worst casting ever I don't know what is. As soon as I seen him in the movie I almost walked out... Then I was like no give him a chance Nd boy was I wrong to not walk out

Vastly underrated rated movie. If you’re going to watch this movie watch the ultimate cut. Much better than what was released in theaters as it fills in some plot holes presented in the theatrical cut.

I think people are being too critical. I thought it was an interesting take on this story and that the cast, effects, and plot were engaging. The pacing was a little sluggish and there were definitely plot holes and some nuanced themes (that could have not been so nuanced) but overall we had fun with it. I can see why DC purists might have objections, but if you watch it outside of that silo it's fun and definitely action-packed. Watch this one with your 5, 9, and 11 year-olds!
