I love how this film makes us all private investigators with all of the clues and misdirections. In the end, there is no absolution. Much like our own personal mysterious experiences in life. Everything isn't just tied up nicely in a bow. Some things remain a mystery for the duration of our lives. Broken Flowers is a great film and it's one of Bill Murray's finest performances. I sometimes like to share the opinion of a movie critic which echoes my own. Mike McGranaghan kind of spoke for me in his review. "When the end credits started to roll, and awed numbness came over me; I was more moved by the film than I had expected, and I knew I had seen something great." Mike's score: 4/4 I agree with Mike and I highly recommend this picture. 95/100 See more Jacob B @RT48293763 03/04/2025 Jarmusch is a director whose style and sense of humor I just don’t connect with and have a hard time even appreciating. But even I could sit through this film just for the opportunity to take in the incredible cast. They are all uniformly terrific and each given a chance to shine.
