Blake- N @PBSAniDom 17h Compromising Positions is one of those movies that sits right in the middle for me. It isn't terrible, and I can see why some viewers enjoy its mix of mystery, comedy, and drama, but it never fully grabbed my attention. The story moves along fine, yet it rarely feels exciting or memorable. The cast does a decent job with the material, and there are a few entertaining moments scattered throughout. Some scenes have charm, but the humor and suspense didn't always land as well as I hoped. What keeps this movie from being worse is that it's competently made and generally easy to watch. At the same time, it lacks the strong characters, tension, or standout moments needed to make it truly good. Overall, Compromising Positions is a very average film in my opinion. It's not the worst movie I've seen, but it's also not one I'll be rushing to revisit. I'd give it a 5/10. Noone other than Shakespeare recommended to kill the lawyers, but Susan Sarandon’s husband in the movie, an attorney, escapes untouched.
