Well, the audience got this one right. I LOVE the period- I was in it. I didn't like most of the groups this dude backed, but it was a cool look at a time in history. The problem is it's too fleeting- with whipping from one errant scene to another. It lacks any kind of story, it's just some dude 'discovering' music acts and him partying. That's literally the whole movie. This ,might've been something really great in another persons hands- but this movie sucked- and I couldn't get to the end, tapping out after all but the last 20 minutes.

I don't think this is a good film at all, but Ewen Bremner as Alam McGee is so natural. I needed subtitles for the heavy scottish accent.
